National Hackathon-2025
Since 2015, the Department of Industrial Management, University of Kelaniya, has been organizing an annual Hackathon titled HackX. Over the past decade, this event has grown into one of the country's most recognized platforms for innovation, engaging students in leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges.
As the Ministry of Science and Technology, we are committed to the popularization of science across all segments of society. In this spirit, we are proud to extend our support to the 10th edition of HackX, which will be conducted in 2025 as a National Hackathon.
The event comprises two key categories:
- HackX Jr. – Designed for school students, encouraging early exposure to scientific inquiry and innovation.
- 2. HackX– Targeted at university undergraduates, promoting advanced technological problem-solving, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.
