Minister of Science, Technology and Research, Sujeewa Senasinghe has been formally invited for the fourth time to attend the 11th annual Global Empowerment Meeting (GEM19) hosted by the Centre for International Development (CID) at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 9th and 10th 2019.

The appointment of new chairpersons and directors to the National Engineering Research and Development Center (NERD) and the ITI was held under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Science, Technology and Research Mr. Sujeewa Senasinghe at the Ministry Auditorium.

The Ministry of Science Technology and Research has invited all the universities in Sri Lanka to actively participate in “Shilpa Sena” Program which is going to launch under the patronage of Hon. Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe.

The south Asian Workshop on detector technologies and applications of High-Energy physics instrumentation, organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology & Research and the European organization for Nuclear Research, in collaboration with the Universities of Ruhuna and Colombo, was inaugurated today (20th) at the BMICH, under the patronage of Sujeewa Senasinghe, Hon. Minster of Science, Technology & Research.

The Citra Social Innovation Lab, co - developed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research and the United Nations Development Programme, was officially launched under the auspices of Prime Minster Ranil Wickremesinghe in Colombo today. (13 February 2019)
