The Minister of Science, Technology and Research Sujeewa Senasinghe, during his visit to Geneva on 17 May 2019, extended an invitation to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) to participate in the Shilpa Sena exposition to be launched in July 2019 in Colombo.
Minster of Science, Technology & Research, along with a delegation is currently attending the 22nd session of the commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) in Geneva, Switzerland. This session is held from the 13th to 17th of May 2019.
Minister of Science, Technology and Research, Sujeewa Senasinghe has been formally invited for the fourth time to attend the 11th annual Global Empowerment Meeting (GEM19) hosted by the Centre for International Development (CID) at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 9th and 10th 2019.
The National Research Council (NRC), which functions under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research, is a leading body providing government funding for the empowerment of scientific research in Sri Lanka.
The appointment of new chairpersons and directors to the National Engineering Research and Development Center (NERD) and the ITI was held under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Science, Technology and Research Mr. Sujeewa Senasinghe at the Ministry Auditorium.
