Representatives of Yunnan Rural S & T Service Center met the Hon. Minister of Science technology & Research Sujeewa Senasinghe to discuss the progress of the MoU to establish the Joint Bio Technology Laboratory in Collaboration with Industrial Technology Institute.

Mr. Chinthaka S. Lokuhetti assumed duties as the New Secretary of Science, Technology and Research on 04th of January 2019 morning at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research situated at first phase of Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla. Mr. Lokuhetti joined the Administrative Service as the Assistant Divisional Secretary in Habaraduwa Divisional Secretariat in 1990. He is a special grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service and has perfected experience in a number of government agencies including Ministry of Industry and Commerce and International Trade.

Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe assumed duties as the Minister of Science, Technology and Research on 28th of December 2018 morning with the blessings of all religiousus activities at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research situated at first phase of Sethsiripaya.
